En una decisión que podría cambiar la monarquía británica, el príncipe Harry y su esposa Meghan Markle dijeron hoy en una declaración que ellos “tienen la intención de apartarse como altos miembros de la familia real para trabajar y ser financieramente independientes”.

En un comunicado publicado en la redes sociales de la realeza expresaron lo siguiente: “Después de muchos meses de reflexión y discusiones internas, hemos elegido hacer una transición este año y comenzar a forjar un nuevo rol progresivo dentro de esta institución”.

Harry señaló que si bien serán independientes financieramente, permanecerán totalmente respaldando a la reina Isabel II.
